In line with the company’s environmental friendly philosophy and our desire to be fully prepared and become compliant with the EC ( European Council) Directives, ( Directive 2002/95/EC-ROHS) and Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE), that becomes effective on July 01, 2006, Cirtek has notified its customers the complete elimination of SnPb lead finish/Post plating process.
On March of 2006 Cirtek have started notifying its customers for the plan not to accept anymore orders for products that will require SnPb composition.

In 2004, only 30% of Cirtek Customer base has been using the 100% Tin solutions. As we get closer to July 01, 2006 date for the lead free implementation, we have worked with our customers to qualify our 100% tin chemistry and Nickel Palladium Gold pre-plated frames, Currently, most of our customer base are now using these solutions.
Hence, Cirtek only available lead plating process offering will be limited to the 100% tin chemistry or the pre-plated Nickel Palladium Gold ( NiPdAu) alternate ( lead free plating) solution.
